Totally Abstract

I was just experimenting with Photoshop and I created this picture. I thought that it looked pretty cool, so I posted it on here. I'm not sure what it is, it is abstract. It could be a terrorizing tornado or dark and mysterious mountain that you are looking onto from the back of a dragon.
The Light of the Phoenix
Walking where wild creatures roam free,
Walking where you can’t be seen,
Walking in Taos, New Mexico, ‘The Land of Enchantment’

Looking to my left side I saw a young unicorn walking alongside his mother. I threw a white rock into the glistening silver river. The night was creeping in on me so I started towards home. I was listening to the wind, I heard not the wind but a ‘caw’ like from a bird. I looked up to see what was making the strangely familiar noise. I saw a light, a very bright light indeed. It was blinding to look at. It had a strong force to it. The force was too much. I toppled to the ground, I blacked out.

Feeling the soft touch of my mother’s long slender fingers and smelling the fresh breakfast being cooked by my dad, I jumped up from my resting spot, but to my surprise I was surrounded by a wall of fire. I jumped up to see what was over the fence of fire. I saw something with red and yellow feathers and dark orange eyes. I yelled to the creature to see if he could lower the wall. He glared at me with his fiery eyes. I stopped jumping and the creature that held me prisoner let down the barrier. I could see his whole body now. IT WAS A PHOENIX!!!! I had seen unicorns, faeries, and even elves but never a phoenix. I had always dreamed of coming face to beak with a real phoenix! The phoenix flapped his wings and cawed as if he were trying to say, “Come on aboard and we can take flight.” So of course I jumped on.

I had a loose grip on the bird but I held on pretty good for my first time. I saw in front of me a tall castle that looked as if it were from the mid-evil times. We landed in front of a rather large mote that surrounded the castle. I got off of the bird and he crossed his wings and screeched. The door to the castle fell into a bridge for us to walk over. The bird nudged me so I went first.

Opals and diamonds glistened in front of me. Walls lined with gold caught my eye. I ran into the room. Shining in front of me was a gold throne with a black and silver cloak hanging on the back of it. Next to the throne stood a silver table with a maroon cushion with lime green lining on top of it. On top of the cushion lay a gold crown embellished with peridots and amethysts. The phoenix smiled with his glowing eyes. I rushed to sit in the throne and put on the cloak. After I put on the cloak and took a seat I crowned myself ‘Queen Sarah’.

5 years later.....................

I learned that this mysterious place was called Marakaw, New Mexico. It is a hidden land in the direct center of New Mexico. The phoenix’s name was Sciana. Sciana died of a demonic possession. There were no ashes left behind so there was no reproduction. I rule the people of Marakaw. Being queen for 5 years now, I have gotten used to my new job and being my own teacher and parental guardian.
I miss Sciana dearly and I thank him always for leading me to this grand place of Marakaw.

The end
This is one of my more recent stories. It is one of my favorites yet.
