Once Upon a Time

Once Upon a Time

By: Sarah Whitney Little

The Deadly Fairies

Once upon a time there was a little girl named Sarah. She was a very curious little girl. One day she walked into the ‘Forbidden Forest’ and found a rock. Sarah picked up the rock and made a wish! After, she made the wish she threw the rock in the water.

The next day her wish had come true BUT, in a bad way! The fairies she wished for were evil fairies. They tripped people, misguided them, hurt them, and made them mad. Poor little Sarah was so scared for the people around her. She didn’t want them to get hurt.

Soon Sarah got sucked into the act and she started to lead the fairies into mischief. The whole town was miserable. Sarah thoroughly enjoyed the pain. She was an orphan so she had no one to stop her.

Sarah found more and more evil fairies. Eventually, they took over the world!

The End

The Return of the Black Doll
Once upon a time there was a little girl named Anna. She was a very snooty, all-that little girl that had a fortune from her parents’ death. Anna had a great, very expensive doll that she called Zodda. Zodda had black clothing and very pale skin.

One day, when Anna was much too old for Zodda, she threw the doll in a river. After that, Anna went and bought a new doll that was way more expensive and way better than Zodda.

That night, while Anna was sleeping, Zodda came into her room with a rock. Zodda wished that the doll that Anna now had would disappear. And it did! Zodda slipped into Anna’s hands and fell back asleep, still holding the rock.

The next morning Anna got up and screamed! Her servants came immediately to the scene. They took the doll and buried it in a faraway land. Anna noticed the rock and went to the river behind her house. She wished upon the rock and threw it into the water.

Later that day, Anna’s wish had come true BUT, in a bad way. The money she wished for was fake and the new clothes she wished for were torn and dirty. Her servants completely took advantage of her being a lower rank and she had to work for them.

Poor Anna sat day after day on the ground and scrubbed and scrubbed until the sponge was torn to pieces. Taking her place was a young man, who was now king, named Sebastian.
The End
The King of Darkness
Once upon a time there was a young man named Sebastian. He was the king of the country. All of the people that weren’t under Sarah’s control worshiped him. He was a very handsome, smart, and rich young man.

One day he was fishing in the creek behind his house. He had caught something! It was a rock… Sebastian wished on the rock and skipped on the water.

The next day his wish came true BUT, in a bad way. Sebastian wished for a queen that was happy and loved the people. He didn’t get a loving queen; he got Sarah, the queen of darkness! She got him to become dark and evil and rule the world with her and her dark fairies.

They had a secret wedding behind their house near the creek. After the wedding they went back to their normal routine.

Many changes were made to the palace. Sarah ordered Sebastian to fire Anna, a young hard-working slave. Both, the king and the queen, had black rings around their eyes and they were growing very pale.

All the people that worshiped King Sebastian were now demons or dark sorcerers. There was now graveyard any more. All the people who died became undead and worked in the castle. Sarah and Sebastian were VERY happy together and worked great together.

The End

These are stories that I am putting together to make a story book like thing. I am not done yet. These stories were insspired by The Grimm Fairy Tales and the work of Edward Gorey.
